I’m overweight,and feel ugly.

There are these two boys, who I call my best friends and they constantly tell me I’m beautiful-even though I’m not.

The other day I was listening to the radio when the song “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful” came on one of them dedicated it to me.

One night, I was having a really hard time and was very emotional.

I decided to text one of my best friends to talk.

Even though it was after midnight, she texted me back almost immediately saying “I’m always here for you and I love you.”

My little sister has been living with brain tumor, since 2.

She told me everything’s gonna be okay, Her hand brushing my cheeks , smiling when I’m the older one, looking at her with tearful eyes.

Just before her 10th birthday, she died.

My mom gave me a flower that day.My little sister picked it herself, just before her death.

One day, not only one, but three teachers of mine individually emailed home explaining they were worried about how down I had been acting, and asked if they could do anything to help.

I think they may have saved my life.

When she went to pay, she realised she had lost $100.

Embarrassed and about to cry, she went to leave, when an elderly woman came up to her and handed her the money she needed.

All my friends were “too busy” to talk to me.I almost gave up.

I met a deployed soldier my age, in Afghanistan.His home is nearby, but he’s 7000mi away, in a war-zone.

we still talk daily, when no one else could find the time.We’re best friends.

Doctors told her that they highly recommended aborting the pregnancy because it would of been a miracle if both her and the baby survived, but she refused.

Three months after her daughter was born, she died.

I am alive because my mother died for me.
